Love Through Missions

In partnership with Hungry for Life, Beach Corner Church has joined together in ministry with ATEK, a Peruvian based organization, having conducted eight missions’ trips to Peru since 2008. Located in Cusco, Peru, ATEK ministers to the Native Quechua people of the Andes Mountains. They are involved in teaching the Quechuan people about Jesus in their own native language as well as educating them on hygiene and introducing innovative agricultural initiatives which further enhances their ability to make their living. Beach Corner sends a youth missions’ team every two years during the summer months and an adult team in the fall on alternating years. You can check out our 2015 Mission Trip Blog here.

Youth Missions Trip

Every second year (on alternating years with the Peru missions trip), our Junior High youth are invited to go on a three day missions’ trip to the Food for the Hungry (FFH) warehouse in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. There the youth help prepare materials that will be sent out by FFH to communities in need around the world. This is a great opportunity for the junior high’s to learn about serving those in need as well as to prepare them for the bigger Peru missions’ trip in subsequent years.
